Abstract: The TV receiver system has a tuner (1) coupled to an intermediate frequency stage (3) producing a video signal contg. a series of half frame images with line shifts. The half frame lines are switched (6) alternately into memories (4, 5) coupled to a vertical separation filter (7) that provides separate high and low frequency components. The two components are received by filters (13, 14) with the outputs added (15) and fed as an input to the CRT (19).
