- Abstract
Polarized isomeric 24Nam(T1/2 = 20 ms, Iπ = 1+) nuclei were produced by capture of polarized thermal neutrons in a NaF single crystal at room temperature. The asymmetric β-decay radition of 24Nam was used to detect nuclear magnetic resonance signals yielding the magnetic moment |μ(24Nam)| = 1.930 (3) n.m. (uncorrected).
