- Abstract
During the cultivation of Penicillium chrysogenum and Zymomonas mobilis (Z6), the culture fluorescence was monitored on-line by a microfluorometer. The signals were correlated with biomass production, and several parameters influencing the culture fluorescence were studied. The effect of aspartic acid in various concentrations on Z. mobilis results in different cell growth rates.
