- Abstract
beta -active **1**1**0Ag nuclei have been produced in AgF, AgCl, AgBr by capture of polarized thermal neutrons. The capture process produces point defects which have been studied. Analysis of the NMR line shape showed that 30-40% of the **1**1**0Ag nuclei have undisturbed lattice whereas 60-70% have Ag** plus vacancies and interstitials. In the case of AgCl and AgBr, defect annealing was oberved in the temperature range 10-25 K.
