Abstract

The method involves actively connecting switch (19) with common output lines (9,20) through control signals (14-16). A shunt resistor (10) is arranged in the common output line. The voltage drop over the shunt resistor is detected by the switch using the distinctive control signals. The voltage across the shunt resistor is measured continuously. The measured voltage (12) is filtered in response to the control signals of the switch. An independent claim is included for a circuit device.
