Microjoule pulse energy from a chirped-pulse Ti
Sapphire oscillator with cavity-dumping

- Abstract
We report on the generation of 1.1 μJ pulses at 1 MHz pulse repetition rate directly from a chirped-pulse Ti:sapphire oscillator with acousto-optical cavity-dumping. The spectrum of the pulses supports a Fourier-limit of 74 fs.
