A global approach for least squares image matching and surface reconstruction in object space

- Abstract
A general model for digital photogrammetry, developed over the last three years, integrating area based multi image matching, point determination, object surface reconstruction and orthophoto generation into one model only, is presented in this paper. In a least squares adjustment, the unknown quantities (geometric and radiometrical parameters of the object surface, and orientation parameters of the iamges) are iteratively estimated from the pixel intensity values and control information. -from Author
