Nearly one year ago the QUEST-team hopefully waited for news from German Science Foundation about granting the funding of the cluster. When the good news arrived, QUEST scientists immediately started to organize and realize the ambitious research projects. Since then, a lot of work has been done and many projects are currently running with promising perspectives.
In this framework, Prof. Dr. Karsten Danzmann (deputy coordinator of QUEST) will give an overview of science and projects in QUEST. The talk will take place
on October 1st, 2008
from 17:00 to 17:30
at the main buliding of LUH (Welfengarten 1), Room E 214 (Großer Physikhörsaal).
After the talk, a public discussion about perspectives and challenges of the excellence initiative for Hannover and Lower Saxony with Stephan Weil (lord mayor of Hannover) will take place at the same location. For further information, please view the announcement of this event.
